Measuring the wall

Four steps, before anything is printed.

  1. Measure the wall

    Measure the full width and the full height of the wall you want to cover. Measure at more than one point if the wall is uneven and use the largest number.

  2. Divide the width by 23

    Each panel covers 23 inches of wall. Divide the wall width in inches by 23 and round up. A 100-inch wall takes 5 panels. The 1-inch overlap between panels is already inside that 23 inches, so do not subtract it again.

  3. Choose a taller panel

    Pick a panel height above your wall height so there is something to trim at the top and bottom. A panel the exact height of the wall leaves no trim allowance. The overlap between panels is a side join and does not help here.

  4. Order a sample first

    A sample is a 15 × 20 in / 38 × 51 cm printed swatch in the material you choose. Samples are ordered separately from full-size panels and let you see the printed colors and the material in your own lighting before you commit to the wall.
