Refund policy
Every Sophestia piece is made-to-order and personalized. Because each item is custom-produced with your names, date, and wording specifically for you, personalized and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind, incorrect personalization details supplied by the customer, sizing, color preference, or buyer's remorse.
Cancellations and changes. You may cancel or change your order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as production has not yet started. Email hello@sophestia.com with your order number as soon as possible. Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or changed because work on your personalized piece is already underway.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items. We stand fully behind our craftsmanship. If your order arrives damaged or defective, or if we made an error so that the item does not match the details you approved at checkout, contact us at hello@sophestia.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. Once confirmed, we will remake the item or issue a full refund at no cost to you. You generally will not need to ship the item back; we will let you know if a return is required.
Personalization errors. If the personalization differs from what you submitted at checkout, it qualifies for a free remake or refund. If the order was produced exactly as you submitted it but the details you provided were incorrect (for example, a misspelled name or wrong date), it is not eligible for a free remake, though we are happy to offer a discounted remake.
Lost in transit. If a tracked package is confirmed lost by the carrier, please see our Shipping Policy — we will work with you to file a claim and arrange a remake or refund.
Refunds. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the funds.
